Accountant - Hilliard Companies, LLC

The Hilliard Companies, LLC is seeking a to fill the position of Accountant. The ideal candidate will be experienced with tax planning for corporate and partnership tax returns. 

Responsibilities & Duites

  • Maintain updated company financial records. 
  • Perform duties related to bookkeeping, preparation of government audits, taxes, and financial planning. 
  • Recommend fiscally advantageous methods to save money. 
  • Work with tax returns and analyze financial information to ensure taxes are paid on time. 
  • Analyze accounts for errors, misinformation, fraud, and overspending. 
  • Report financial information to management. 
  • Oversee budget and financial management. 
  • Create and analyze budgets. 
  • Advise management on tax ramifications of business decisions 
  • Act as a consultant in areas such as compensation, benefits, and asset protection. 
  • Oversee accounts payable and receivable. 
  • Forecast revenue and analyze ledgers. 
  • Identify and investigate variances. 
  • Participate in strategic planning, fraud prevention, and budget development
  • Ability to work with multiple companies and intercompany activity.
  • Heavy analytical work.

Qualifications & Skills

  • CPA certification preferred 
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting required (Master’s preferred) 
  • 5+ years’ experience 
  • Strong knowledge of QuickBooks 
  • In-depth tax knowledge at the local, state and federal levels Dedicated to providing exceptional customer service to clients

Sales Manager - Abilene

Hilliard Office Solutions is currently looking for a Sales Manager in the Abilene, TX area. Our growth is due to a great demand for the products and solutions we offer, and our desire to be #1 in these markets.

Hilliard Office Solutions offers a career in the office equipment, printing, and IT industry. We carry a full line of Konica Minolta copiers, full printing services, and provides a top tier IT Managed Services. Hilliard Office Solutions provides businesses with the expertise needed to streamline business processes and increase operational efficiency.

Qualifications:

  • Prior experience building and leading a successful sales team
  • Outside sales experience is an absolute must
  • Experience selling a solution based product - preferably in the office equipment or technology realm
  • Desire and willingness to spend majority of time in field with reps working on business opportunities and hands on sales training
  • Proficient in use of MS Excel
  • Strong work ethic
  • Motivation for Sales and Prospecting

Responsibilities:

  • Develop new accounts by supervising wide variety of new business development activities
  • Read business journals and newspapers to stay abreast of local business developments that may present sales opportunities
  • Personally attend one networking event per week and require reps supervised to do the same
  • Sales Staff Management and Daily Supervision
  • Supervise and assist in the development of proposals including overseeing pricing and profit strategies

Account Executive - Abilene, Dallas, Lubbock and Midland locations:

As an Account Executive, you will be responsible for achieving individual sales goals. You will manage assigned resources and territory to ensure long-term business development and sales growth. Your mission will be to develop accounts via prospecting and strategic marketing. This is an outside sales position; past sales experience is required.

  • Self-starter, ability to plan and implement territory sales strategy with limited supervision

Copier Service Technician - Midland, Lubbock & Abilene locations:

Repairs and maintains office equipment by performing diagnostic tests; cleaning, repairing, or replacing parts and components; maintains parts and supplies inventory

Requirements:

  • Working knowledge of computer systems such as Microsoft, Apple and common network problems

Duties:

  • Provides copier repair service to existing accounts by analyzing work orders; planning daily travel schedule; investigating complaints; conducting tests; resolving problems.
  • Performs preventative maintenance and repair services on office equipment by analyzing system problems; troubleshooting, ordering and gathering components and parts; completing installation; performing tests.
  • Maintains rapport with customers by examining complaints; identifying solutions; suggesting improved methods and techniques; recommending system improvements.
  • Documents service and installation actions by entering data and, completing reports.
  • Works together in a teamwork environment with dispatchers, service manager, and other customer service staff.

Copier Service Technician Skills/Qualifications:

  • Experience with Cannon and Konica Minolta products a plus
  • Must be adept at using computers and able to perform basic print and scan connectivity installations.  Additional IT skills preferred.
  • Must have electronic and mechanical troubleshooting ability
  • Certified in A+ or equivalent training preferred
  • Must possess electrical/mechanical aptitude
  • Must have a valid driver’s license.
  • Must be able to travel locally on a daily basis to various customer sites.
  • Must have excellent daily time management skills and be capable of prioritizing activities and schedule to obtain effective results.
  • Ability to work independently at a customer site
  • Must work well with customers and exhibit professional appearance and demeanor at all times

Computer/Network Technician - Abilene, Lubbock and Midland locations:
