IT Systems Analyst - Dallas/Ft. Worth &  Midland locations:

Design, implement, troubleshoot, analyze and maintain the IT Infrastructure our customer environments; including network connectivity and utilization, Windows server administration, virtualization, performance tuning, backup and restore. Identifies, researches, and resolves technical problems. Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies on training, experience, and judgment to plan and budget time to accomplish goals. Performs a variety of complicated tasks, and provide support for escalated trouble tickets. 

Candidates should be team players with excellent communication skills and have the ability to manage assignments independently. The ideal candidate will have a nurturing personality and the desire to help in the development and mentoring of level 1 technicians.

Systems Analysts Responsibilities:

  • Create and maintain comprehensive documentation as it relates to server and network topology, equipment, and configuration(s).
  • Create project plans, design, and implement solutions.
  • Level 2 and Level 3 Support for problems identified with systems and network. Will act as an escalation for Level 1 and Level 2 Managed Services support technicians.
  • Create, request, and present technical specifications and requirements for the purchasing of new servers and networking equipment via quote procedure.
  • Participate in after-hours upgrades, troubleshooting, and/or on-call availability as needed.
  • Standard system administration duties including server install, System/Application install and patch management, Windows problem determination and escalation, log analysis, etc
  • Configure, test, and maintain LAN equipment and services, including switches, routers, firewalls, and VPN.
  • Identify, diagnose, and resolve network problems including network connectivity, traffic utilization, etc. using available network tools in a timely fashion.
  • Provide Infrastructure services in all areas needed: storage networking, Operating System, network security, directory services, server virtualization using system backup and restore, system and network monitoring, application installation and configuration
  • Assist with monthly reports and recommendations for Managed Services Clients
  • Utilize superior customer service skills
  • Stay current with system information, changes, and updates

Requirements:

  • 5 –7 years of prior IT experience.
  • Prior experience working for a service provider is a plus
  • Experience working with Windows Desktop XP-10, Windows Server 2003 - 2012, VMware, SBS Server, Storage Technologies
  • Hands on experience with Wired and Wireless networking, PC and server virtualization software, virus protection, backup systems.
  • Microsoft certifications preferred
  • MCSA, VCP & CCNA certifications are preferred

Account Executive - Abilene, Dallas, Lubbock and Midland locations

As an Account Executive, you will be responsible for achieving individual sales goals. You will manage assigned resources and territory to ensure long-term business development and sales growth. Your mission will be to develop accounts via prospecting and strategic marketing. This is an outside sales position; past sales experience is required.

Copier Service Technician - Midland and Dallas locations

Repairs and maintains office equipment by performing diagnostic tests; cleaning, repairing, or replacing parts and components; maintains parts and supplies inventory

Requirements:

Duties:

  • Provides copier repair service to existing accounts by analyzing work orders; planning daily travel schedule; investigating complaints; conducting tests; resolving problems.
  • Performs preventative maintenance and repair services on office equipment by analyzing system problems; troubleshooting, ordering and gathering components and parts; completing installation; performing tests.
  • Maintains rapport with customers by examining complaints; identifying solutions; suggesting improved methods and techniques; recommending system improvements.
  • Documents service and installation actions by entering data and, completing reports.
  • Works together in a teamwork environment with dispatchers, service manager, and other customer service staff.

Copier Service Technician Skills/Qualifications:

  • Experience with Canon and Konica Minolta products a plus
  • Must be adept at using computers and able to perform basic print and scan connectivity installations.  Additional IT skills preferred.
  • Must have electronic and mechanical troubleshooting ability
  • Certified in A+ or equivalent training preferred
  • Must possess an electrical/mechanical aptitude
  • Must have a valid driver’s license.
  • Must be able to travel locally on a daily basis to various customer sites.
  • Must have excellent daily time management skills and be capable of prioritizing activities and schedule to obtain effective results.
  • Ability to work independently at a customer site
  • Must work well with customers and exhibit professional appearance and demeanor at all times

IT Sales Engineer- Midland & Dallas locations

The IT Sales Engineer plays a key role in helping Hilliard Office Solutions maximize the value for our customers. The SE will work with their sales colleagues to execute on IT opportunities and workflow solutions, ensure that sales reps have the latest product information, collaborate with sales and IT engineers, and facilitate new product adoption onboarding of new and existing customers.

The SE is a partner-facing expert on Hilliard's products who help to ensure sale reps and customer satisfaction by taking customers through an evaluation of new product adoption, by providing enablement training and support via phone and email. SEs are responsible for the education and technical training of existing sales staff, and for maximizing product adoption throughout the customer life-cycle. 

Responsibilities:

  • Become an expert in Hilliard’s ever-growing products and services
  • Execute upon appropriate phases of the Sales Qualification Process
  • Promote product adoption and success through regular communication, training, customized product demonstrations, and evaluations
  • Lead customers through new product Onboarding (eval, setup, training, setting proper expectations)
  • Answer business strategy, technical, and platform questions
  • Work with Strategic Partner Managers and Partner Sales Executives to meet sales objectives
  • Provide all necessary technical expertise to facilitate the Sales Qualification Process
  • Focus on customer satisfaction and growth; help partners fully utilize product capabilities
  • Conduct training sessions with individuals and groups both in-person and online
  • Manage and respond to all assigned inbound sales-related communication in a timely and helpful way
  • Maintain recordkeeping to allow for tracking of key metrics
  • Act as an advocate and voice of the company for internal teams, Product, Service, and Marketing
  • Complete specialized projects as assigned
  • Expected travel up to 25-50%

Technical Savvy:

  • Experience with CRM software, like Salesforce, Sherpa, etc., is a plus
